Hotel Marquis Los Cabos
We first stayed at Hotel Marquis Los Cabos. This adult-only 5-star property is situated on the coast of the Sea of Cortez and boasts stunning views of the ocean and the surrounding mountains.
One of the things that stood out to me about this hotel is its emphasis on wellness. Guests can enjoy a range of activities, from yoga classes to spa treatments, that will help them to rejuvenate and relax.
In addition to its wellness offerings, the hotel also has a variety of restaurants that serve delicious Mexican cuisine and other international dishes. The design elements combine a mixture of Mexican and Mediterranean architecture; I felt like I was somewhere in Mykonos.
JW Marriott Los Cabos
Next, we visited the JW Marriott Los Cabos, which is situated in the exclusive Puerto Los Cabos development in San Jose del Cabo. This property is perfect for travelers who want to enjoy a beachfront vacation with plenty of activities and entertainment options for families. They even had a daily kids club for ages 4-12.
The hotel has a range of restaurants and bars, including a rooftop bar that offers stunning views of the ocean and the surrounding area.
Guests can enjoy a range of amenities at the hotel, including the famous Jasha spa, fitness center, infinity pool, golf course and internationally acclaimed French gastronomic restaurant Cafe de Artistes. We stayed in the fabulous Taypa suite with a plunge pool, and I was in awe of the modern design. Their breakfast buffet was a big highlight, with so many fresh options and local dishes made right in front of you.
Solaz Los Cabos
The third hotel we visited was the Solaz Los Cabos, which is part of the Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts. This eco-friendly property is nestled in a secluded spot between the ocean and the desert and offers guests an opportunity to connect with nature in a luxurious setting.
One of the standout features of this hotel is its architecture, which is inspired by the natural surroundings. Each of the rooms and suites is designed to blend seamlessly with the environment, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere.
The hotel also has its own museum onsite, presenting various artifacts on the history of Baja California.
My highlights were our beautiful plunge pool room surrounded by cactus plants, a wonderful spa service, and a taco-making masterclass we had the chance to take during our stay. I can now host fabulous taco nights wherever I go.
The Cape
Last, but not least, we visited The Cape, a Thompson Hotel in Los Cabos. This boutique hotel is situated on a secluded beach and offers guests a tranquil and private setting. During our stay, we witnessed two beautiful weddings onsite and learned that it is well-known for hosting fabulous parties with guests hailing from all around the world.
The hotel's design is inspired by the surrounding landscape, with each room and suite offering breathtaking views of the ocean and the desert. Guests can enjoy a range of amenities, including a very hip rooftop bar, an iconic infinity pool, and a spa that offers a variety of treatments. We loved their relaxing massage and cold plunge with a splendid view.
My visit to this stunning destination was truly a dream come true, and I feel grateful to have stayed at the most luxurious hotels in Los Cabos. Whether you are looking for a wellness retreat, a beachfront vacation, or a secluded escape, there is a hotel in Los Cabos that will meet your needs. The Hotel Marquis Los Cabos, Solaz Los Cabos, JW Marriott Los Cabos, and The Cape, a Thompson Hotel, are definitely worth a trip to this amazing destination.
