JANUARY 


We had lots of Diarrablu Muses on vacation!

FEBRUARY

We got a feature in CNN!
And we launched initial images of our JOAL Collection
While we were working a lot on our private studio and showroom at Bloomingdales.

MARCH

We decided to make sustainability one of the brand’s main pillars and designed a 100% Sustainable Essentials Collection. 

 

Then the quarantine started...
  And I introduced to you GÉNT (Wolof for Dream), A Series of artwork I developed to brighten our #athome days.

Even created a gallery wall

 

APRIL

I made an oversized Wood Wall Art titled YAAY (wolof for mother) to have her powerful energy and love in my room while we were away from each other.

 

Meanwhile, we launched new prints designed with math!

 

MAY

AND Diarrablu Swim 20

 

JUNE

 

We got great features and support!

 

JULY

We had a partnership with Moda Operandi

AUGUST

We extended our summer with this magical swim collection! 

SEPTEMBER

I started a new hobby: Ceramics Art!


And had a great feature on Forbes about my Art Collection!

OCTOBER

I was selected as a TOP10 Finalist for Africa Business Heroes competition!

And to join the Madewell Hometown Heroes collective.

Also got other great features!

NOVEMBER

We launched DALL Collection

And had a partnership with Facebook this holiday season as part of their #buyblack initiative to foster inclusivity.

DECEMBER

My beautiful sister got married and I designed all the bridesmaid's dresses!

And now, to finish this turbulent year, I got back home in Senegal after 2 years and see my beloved family!
