10 WAYS TO STYLE THE MAILYS DRESS
ONE DRESS & ENDLESS OUTFITS
One of our sustainable design pillars is to create unique but versatile pieces that can reused and repurposed in different ways.
To be as conscious as possible, we design most of our styles around convertibility, which is deeply rooted in West African culture, where traditional boubou dresses and wrap skirts are worn different ways and across different sizes, sometimes even passed down different generations as family heirlooms.
Our signature Mailys Dress halter ties can be wrapped around and adjusted to fit anyone while being comfortable.
We have already taught you how to wear our convertible pieces in 19 different ways, but our Muses always surprise us with brand new ideas! This week, South African muse @joylakay teaches us how she styles her Mailys Dress in 10 different ways. Which one do you like the most? Feel free to always pitch us your styling ideas at hello@diarrablu.com and we would be happy to review and feature you in our journal :)

1
Open-back with a scarf
Give yourself a touch of French style pairing your convertible dress with a top and wrapping the ties around your neck.
2
One Shoulder
There're two ways to style it as a one-shoulder top. I - Wrap both ties around your shoulder, or II - Use one on the shoulder and the other as a sleeveless top over it.

3
Using an Acrylic Scarf Ring
The acrylic ring gives you tons of possibilities! Get yourself a one-shoulder summer dress or a fresh and sexy strapless dress. Note that for this style the dress is worn front to back, which means the slit ends up on the back, so manage accordingly ;)

4
Cross Neck
With the right strap to the left and left strap to the right, the cross neck dress makes you feel quite elegant .
5
One Brand New Skirt
Not in a mood for a dress? Grab one of our Large Headwraps or a strapless top and convert the dress ties into a bow to create a new maxi skirt.

6
Adjusting the Sleeves
Short sleeve or sleeveless? Any of them are possible with the classic cross-back tie on the Mailys Dress. Check out the video below to learn all new 10 styles!
