Discover Our Holiday '21 Campaign: TAKAAY

Wolof for adornment, “Takaay” in Senegalese culture represents a form of heritage remembrance. This collection takes inspiration from jewelry and ornaments that celebrate decadence in Fulani high culture, where the omnipresence of gold, both as a material and color, represents wealth and status. We revisit this concept with four new prints featuring gold accents, gold curves and gold textures cut in both our signature timeless styles and new holiday-appropriate statement pieces.

TAKAAY is also our first stab at a jewelry collection focused on revisiting traditional fulani styles handcrafted by local artisan communities in Senegal and Mali and modern geometric gold-plated pieces, designed in house and imported from artisanal partners around the world.
