My current travel playlist

I have been traveling across Senegal for the last two weeks with my team from California.

Discover below the top genres and songs we have been jamming to during our road trips.

Amapiano

Amapiano music is complex, broad-reaching in scope, and open to interpretation, as Musa Keys shows through the jazzy melodies of “Vula Mlomo.”

The South African genius Obakeng Kekana, also known as DJ Obza, produced the song known as Mang'Dakiwe. This remarkable track was made with the united efforts of DJ Obza and Leon, offering their peculiar musical talents to the crowd.

Reggaeton

The art of Ozuna has garnered four Guinness World Records, so it isn't surprising to know he is one of the most reproduced artists in the world. His collaboration with Colombian singer-songwriter Camilo is featured in Despeinada.

Romeo Santos, the international leader of tropical music, adds sensuality and delicacy to the verses of "Fan de Tus Fotos." Meanwhile, Nicky Jam guides his voice's rhythms and brings the underground feeling that makes the song a smash hit.

Afrobeats

"Peru" is an Afro-Pop song that gives a glimpse into a project Fireboy has been cooking for quite a while. Featuring Afrobeats and ardent vocals from Fireboy, the track is another instant classic under the Afrop-pop umbrella.

Mbalax

Besides being a singer, songwriter, musician, composer, and occasional actor, Youssou N'Dour is also a businessman and politician. He has been dubbed "perhaps the most famous singer alive" in Senegal and parts of Africa by Rolling Stone magazine in 2004.
